I shot Gretchen and Kyle’s beautiful spring wedding back in May. I’m just now posting their wedding with their wedding video made by Jonathan of Don’t Shout Films. Gretchen and Kyle held their ceremony and reception right on Lake Geneva at George Williams College. It is always a pleasure shooting in the Lake Geneva area and I hope to be back there next year!
Jonathan and I started our day with Gretchen getting ready in her room at George Williams. We were greeted with smiles and open arms(especially from Gretchen’s mom. What a sweetie!). I always love the excitement and nervousness a women has getting ready to be a bride. Gretchen was a little emotional putting on her dress and I had to hold back some tears behind my camera. I thought that was so sweet! Gretchen and Kyle chose to do a first look before their ceremony out on the pier. First looks are always one of my favorite things to photograph on a wedding day and relieves so much stress for the bride and groom.
The spring-y pink colors they chose for their wedding went wonderfully with the spring greenery that was abundant on the George Williams College(flowers by Gia Bella Flowers). And could the flower girl and ring bearer by any cuter? :)
Thank you Gretchen and Kyle for having hearts of gold and for having us along on your big day. Jonathan and I loved shooting your wedding and it means a lot to us that you chose us. It was everything we love about weddings and more! Thank you, thank you!!! And congrats! :)
