Northwind Perennial Farm wedding

Northwind Perennial Farm wedding

In the past month I’ve gone to Williams Bay quite a lot. This celebration was the first of many trips to the Lake Geneva area for me. Alex and Brent were already married and had a quick and small ceremony in their home back in 2011. Brent was diagnosed with cancer at the time. Thankfully Brent is fully recovered now and so they decided to have a vow renewal and a party so all their loved ones could celebrate their union. They chose Northwind Perennial Farm for their vow renewal. It’s a little farm in the middle of nowhere and it’s quite a gem. I could have spent hours more shooting there. It’s a pretty laid-back venue with dogs and cats roaming the grounds. I loved Alex and Brent’s heartfelt ceremony. Lots and lots of happy tears were shed.

They held their reception at Daddy Maxwell’s Diner in Williams Bay. This was probably the smallest venue I’ve ever shot at but I loved it! The place was packed with happy people and good food. Everyone was so nice and I felt very welcome by not only the guests but the staff at Daddy Maxwell’s. Loved the speeches and Alex and Brent’s first dance through the entire diner.

Quite an honor to shoot this celebration. It was a good day. :)
