It’s no surprise that Kohler Andrae State Park is a favorite location of mine for engagement sessions. It’s practically my second home. It’s a great lakeside location with lots of variety and backdrops to work with. On most evenings it’s pretty quiet during the week and you might even spot a deer or two for good luck!
I met up with Payton and Brenner on an evening that was supposed to rain. We decided to go for it and just have fun regardless. We ended up with the most perfect diffused sunlight through the clouds and a killer sunset.
I really loved spending time with these two and just flitting around taking pictures wherever it caught my eye. I rarely go into any photo shoot with a plan. I find the best sessions happen when we just wing it!
